Wildlife and macro photography workshops in partnership with The National Trust
Photographs: Rosalind White Photography
I am delighted to be running a series of wildlife photography workshops this Summer, primarily focused on macro (close up) photography. In partnership with The National Trust, these workshops will take place at the Chiltern Gateway Centre, Dunstable Downs, Bedfordshire.
Wildlife photography is where my passion began and I can't wait to share hints and tips on capturing the incredible world at our feet with your camera! These workshops coincide with the best times to see the butterflies and flowers that can be found on Dunstable Downs. With such a diverse habitat don't forget to look up too, as there are Red Kites, Buzzards, and lots of other wildlife to spot!
The workshops will last 3 hours, and if you are feeling peckish after the workshop you can purchase a drink and a cake at the cafe while you review your photos. For just £45 per person you will receive guidance on fieldcraft when photographing insects and flowers, advice on composition and how to utilise your camera to achieve beautiful natural macro images, Places are limited to five participants per session to ensure I can give you my full attention, These workshops are suited to people with a camera that has a macro function or ideally a macro lens (for example 105mm F2.8). There will be uneven ground and some steep slopes involved so a reasonable level of fitness is necessary. The workshops are suitable for ages 12+.Details below on the dates and how to book.
